Gorgeous, rare and quite old hand embroidered linen scarf with vibrant geometric folksy pattern and meticulous stitching. The beige linen base is extremely soft and fluid, with an open lattice detail on the ends and a raw edge on one side, sewn edge on the other side. Very pretty textile for wearing or collecting. The design looks Eastern European or Mediterranean, and it definitely dates mid-century or earlier.
